Classes Policy

*Spotlight offers a 10% discount to senior citizens and military with valid ID.

Spotlight Performing Arts Academy reserves the right to cancel any class if there are not enough participants. Students will be notified and refunded if a class is cancelled.

Tuition reserves a student's class time each week. No refunds or makeups are given for missed classes.

Withdrawal Policy: No refunds will be given after the designated class has started.

*Extenuating circumstances are at the discretion of Spotlight Performing Arts Academy.

Spotlight Minis

Mainstage Production

Spotlight Minis is designed for our younger students to get a taste of the spotlight. This will consist of singing, dancing and acting geared towards students age 4-8, as an introduction to our theatre program. .

Toddler Theatrics

Drama isn’t just for nap time and putting on shoes! Let’s have a little fun. Kids will get all their wiggles out, and make new friends - All while exploring their creativity. They will enjoy a range of movement activities, sing songs, play pretend, dance, dress up in costumes, and ultimately have their own truly adorable, teeny tiny showcase performance at the end. Are you prepared for the cuteness?

**We ask that caregivers remain in the building while class is in session, since toddlers are as unpredictable as they are precious.

Special Effects Makeup Class

Toddler Theatrics

It’s time to get silly! This class is the perfect outlet for all that midmorning energy. So let’s meet some friends and have some fun! We’re going to dance. We’re going to sing. We’re going to play games that foster creativity, mental flexibility, and empathy. The class will conclude with a showcase highlighting the children’s favorite songs, characters, and games.

Special Effects Makeup Class

This is a super fun class!! We will work on a wide variety of makeup applications, including but not limited to:

Bruises
Wounds
Aging
Fantasy creatures
Making blood
And so much more!!

Students will practice and learn with a variety of materials. It is recommended to wear stainable clothing for this class, as it can get a little messy sometimes. Cost of class includes a Special Effects Makeup Starter Kit, that is YOURS to take home at the end!

DANCE FOR MUSICAL THEATRE

Special Effects Makeup Class

Whether you are a beginner or wanting to hone your skills this class is for you!

Students will learn best practices for warm ups and dances basics. We will then learn choreography cuts from some of Broadways best! Jazz shoes are required for this class.
