SUMMER STOCK “SEUSSICAL, JR.”

Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical JR., a fantastical musical extravaganza from Tony-winners, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty.Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus  McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant,  who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos.  Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and  he must also guard an abandoned egg that's been left in his care by the  irresponsible Mayzie La Bird.  Although Horton faces ridicule, danger  and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him.   Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are  challenged and emerge triumphant! Our first day will consist of auditions, casting and show setup. We will end the week with a fully staged musical performance on Friday. Cast members should bring a packed lunch, an afternoon snack and a water bottle. No experience necessary.

SUMMER STOCK “PETER PAN, JR.”


Based on J.M. Barrie's classic tale and featuring an unforgettable  score by Morris "Moose" Charlap and Jule Styne with lyrics by Carolyn  Leigh and Betty Comden and Adolph Green, Peter Pan is one of  the most beloved and frequently performed family favorites of all time.  This high-flying Tony Award-winning musical has been performed around  the world and delighted audiences for 60 years and is now adapted for  young performers.Peter and his mischievous fairy sidekick, Tinkerbell, visit the  nursery of the Darling children late one night and, with a sprinkle of  pixie dust, begin a magical journey across the stars that none of them  will ever forget. In the adventure of a lifetime, the travelers come  face to face with a ticking crocodile, the fierce Brave Girls, a band of  bungling pirates and, of course, the villainous Captain Hook. Our first day will consist of auditions, casting and show setup. We will end the week with a fully staged musical performance on Friday. Cast members should bring a packed lunch, an afternoon snack and a water bottle. No experience necessary.

SUMMER STOCK “LEGALLY BLONDE, JR.”

Legally Blonde JR. follows the transformation of Elle Woods as  she tackles stereotypes, snobbery and scandal in pursuit of her dreams.  When Elle's boyfriend, Warner, dumps her and heads to Harvard, claiming  she's not "serious" enough, Elle takes matters into her own hands,  crafting a showy song-and-dance personal essay and charming her way into  law school. Befriending classmate, Emmett, and spunky hairdresser,  Paulette, along the way, Elle finds that books and looks aren't mutually  exclusive.  As Elle begins outsmarting her peers, she realizes that law  may be her natural calling after all.  Our first day will consist of auditions, casting and show setup. We will end the week with a fully staged musical performance on Friday. Cast members should bring a packed lunch, an afternoon snack and a water bottle. No experience necessary.


July 11-15

BROADWAY MINIS (FULL *CONTACT US TO BE PUT ON A WAIT LIST)

​In this half day camp our young students will have the chance to show that they were "Born to Entertain!" Students will sing and dance to favorite songs from children's musical theatre selections. There will also be arts and crafts! Students should bring a morning snack and a water bottle. We will end the week with a short performance for friends and family. No experience necessary.


July 18-22

8:00-12:00pm; Friday performance at 12:30pm

Ages 4-8

BROADWAY BOOTCAMP

In this full day camp students will have a chance to perform a complete Broadway revue. Throughout the week they will audition for parts, perform solos and group numbers as well as learn what it takes to be a Broadway star! Students will work on their singing, dancing and acting skills. We will end the week with a fully staged Broadway revue on Friday for family and friends. We will end the week with a fully staged musical performance on Friday. Cast members should bring a packed lunch, an afternoon snack and a water bottle. No experience necessary.


July 18-22
8:30-3:30pm; Friday performance at 6:00pm

STUDENT CHOICE "WILLIE WONKA, JR." (FULL *CONTACT US TO BE PUT ON A WAIT LIST)

Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka JR. follows enigmatic candy  manufacturer Willy Wonka as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets  in five of his scrumptious candy bars. Whomever comes up with these  tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime  supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are insufferable  brats, but the fifth is a likeable young lad named Charlie Bucket, who  takes the tour in the company of his equally amiable grandfather. The  children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka's rules in the factory — or  suffer the consequences. Our first day will consist of auditions, casting and show setup. We will end the week with a fully staged musical performance on Friday. Cast members should bring a packed lunch, an afternoon snack and a water bottle. No experience necessary.


July 25-29

SUMMER STOCK "ALICE IN WONDERLAND, JR."


Lewis Carroll's unflappable young heroine, Alice, takes a tumble down an  enchanted rabbit hole to an off-kilter world of mock turtles, dancing  flora, punctual rabbits and mad tea parties. Playing cards hold court,  and nothing is as it seems in this land where whimsy and wordplay are  the order of the day. Will Alice be able to find her footing in this  bizarre place? More importantly, will she ever figure out how to get  home? Our first day will consist of auditions, casting and show setup. We will end the week with a fully staged musical performance on Friday. Cast members should bring a packed lunch, an afternoon snack and a water bottle. No experience necessary.
